The review found that intermittent and dynamic modes appeared to have potential advantages over the standard continuous mode. These non-continuous methods showed promising results for wound healing speed and granulation responses. However, because the studies looked at many different types of wounds and used different settings, the evidence is not yet strong enough to pick one single best method.
