Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- patient requiring non-invasive ventilation in an intensive care unit
Exclusion Criteria
- patient not stable for non-invasive ventilation
- patient with unprotected airway
- excessive secretions
- patient with facial surgery
- agitated patient
