Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma: what the trials found

Brentuximab Vedotin demonstrated significant clinical efficacy in patients with Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma, achieving a 54.7% rate of Objective Response lasting at least 4 months (ORR4) compared to 12.5% in the control group (p<0.001). Furthermore, it showed superior rates for Complete Response (CR) (17.2% vs. 1.6%, p=0.0002) and Progression-Free Survival (PFS) (16.7% vs. 3.5%, p<0.001) 2.

SGX301 (synthetic hypericin) showed significant improvement in skin lesions compared to placebo. Specifically, the number of responders was significantly higher in the SGX301 group than in the placebo group across multiple assessment points, including a 50% improvement in CAILS scores 3.

Romidepsin is established as an intervention for this condition; however, its administration is associated with a significantly higher rate and severity of adverse events compared to other cohorts (p<0.01) 15. Phase 1 data also confirmed the use of Romidepsin, reporting specific progression-free survival and duration of response metrics 17.
