Multiple inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) formulations, including Poliorix, IMOVAX POLIO, and various combination vaccines such as Infanrix hexa, Boostrix-Polio, TETRAXIM, and COVAXIS, have been evaluated for polio prophylaxis. Clinical data indicate that IMOVAX POLIO achieved 98.3% to 100% seroprotection against polio antigens following booster vaccination 11. Additionally, the Sabin mOPV2 vaccine demonstrated a seroprotection rate of 47% to 50% for Type 2 Polio neutralizing antibodies 3.
