Several trials evaluated the efficacy and safety of various antifungal agents for fungal infections. Posaconazole was studied in multiple trials, demonstrating significant outcomes in mortality rates (p=<.0001) in one large study 5 and clinical responses at 4, 8, and 12 weeks in another 16. Other studies confirmed the use of Posaconazole across various phases [12, 17, 20].
