Prevena Care is a newly established intervention for peripheral arterial disease 1. Pharmacological management shows that Semaglutide significantly improves functional outcomes, including an increase in maximum walking distance on constant load treadmill tests and improved VascuQoL-6 scores 14. Liraglutide was associated with a significant decrease in peripheral transcutaneous oxygen pressure (p<0.001), though it did not show statistically significant changes in HbA1c or glucose levels 5.
