Clinical evidence for the management of vaginal prolapse includes surgical interventions and topical treatments. The use of synthetic polypropylene mesh was evaluated for objective treatment success in anterior prolapse, with results showing a primary outcome measure of Point Ba at Stage 0 or 1 (maximal descent of the anterior wall to greater than 1 cm above the hymen) at one year 3.
