Endometrial Cancer: what the trials found

Pembrolizumab demonstrated significant improvements in progression-free survival (PFS) for both mismatch repair proficient (pMMR) and all-comer participants compared to standard treatments 4. In a smaller cohort, Pembrolizumab also showed a statistically significant improvement in overall response rate (ORR) 12.

Several agents were evaluated without demonstrating statistically significant differences in primary endpoints. Bevacizumab did not show significant differences in median progression-free survival 3 or in progression-free survival and overall survival across multiple trials 9. Lenvatinib showed no significant difference in progression-free survival for pMMR participants 5 or all randomized participants 5, nor was there a statistically significant difference in its ORR or overall survival in pMMR patients 7. Additionally, AEZS-108/zoptarelin doxorubicin did not show significant differences compared to doxorubicin regarding overall survival, objective response rate, or progression-free survival 6.

Radiation therapy was associated with a statistically significant decrease in the EPIC Bowel Domain Score at 5 weeks 2, though the percentage of patients with acute Grade 2+ gastrointestinal toxicity did not differ significantly 2. Radiation also showed significant differences in changes to the EPIC Urinary Domain score 2. Carboplatin was evaluated across multiple trials without reported outcome metrics for comparison [15, 16, 19].
