Several anti-VEGF agents have demonstrated efficacy in treating macular edema. Aflibercept showed significant improvements in visual acuity (BCVA) at week 52, with a mean change of 13.7 and 12.8 letters compared to -0.2 12, and consistent gains in BCVA across various study arms [1, 2, 11].
