Several trials evaluated ranibizumab for retinal conditions, demonstrating significant improvements in Best Corrected Visual Acuity (BCVA) at 12 months 12. In a large study of patients with choroidal neovascularization (CNV), ranibizumab was associated with a significant percentage of patients gaining $\geq$ 15 letters in BCVA by month 12 20. Other studies confirmed consistent improvements in visual acuity scores following ranibizumab treatment, though some trials showed no statistically significant difference between specific dosing regimens [11, 21].
