Treatment with methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta (Mircera) has demonstrated significant improvements in hemoglobin levels, including a mean increase of 2.11 from baseline at week 16 8. Clinical data indicates that Mircera can maintain patients within target hemoglobin ranges; for example, approximately 53.9% of participants maintained average concentrations within the target range during the evaluation period 10, while 73.0% remained within the specific range of 10.0 to 12.0 g/dL 10. Other studies using this intervention showed high rates of maintaining hemoglobin in target ranges, reaching up to 90.9% in some cohorts 11.
